Made with oxidised (blackened) recycled sterling silver. The dark matte patina will fade over time and leave subtle and unique markings which pleasingly illustrate the ring’s worn history.
Hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
Customisation
Contact me if you’d like this ring in a different metal, eg non-oxidised sterling silver (so it still looks silver), or solid gold of a specific colour (yellow gold, rose gold or white gold) and carat (9ct, 14ct, 18ct or 22ct)..
As I make all my pieces to order it’s usually easy to accommodate customisation requests within my standard dispatch timeframes.
Process
Pierced, pliered, hammered, soldered, shaped, filed and sanded by hand by me using traditional smithing techniques and vegan tools in my London studio.
Made to Order
Each piece is made to order and each iteration of the same design is intrinsically unique in both shape and texture, with some of the marks of my making process intentionally retained for history and integrity.
Dimensions
The diameter of the disc is approximately 32mm and the thickness is 1.5mm. The ring shank is made with 2.5mm round wire. It’s a chunky, comfy and tactile ring to wear.
